We had some rest days by the pool etc. Some of the stuff we planned for such as water parks we didn't do in the end. Our hotel the Hilton Bonnet Creek has a lazy river and it was nice to chill there.

We still did lots of park time.

I've been that parent Only for MVMCP though, I knew we would probably never get to it again or certainly not anytime soon and Xmas is my absolute favourite time of year so I was totally selfish and had 2 sleeping children for me to stay until the end of the later parade

Usually though, we aren't that bad! We never really do a full day of anything in Florida, our kids would get antsy and I always feel theres so much to do. We usually split the day in 3, could be park, pool, park or shopping, park, pool/dinner etc etc. Even when we stay onsite we like to pop back in the afternoon and have pool time before dinner & park again in the evening.

*hand up* I've been that parent too. Not every night and we take plenty of rest in between. The problem is a six year age gap means eldest DD wants to do things and youngest needs to tag along. Mainly MNSSHP as it's a fortune and silly to go for only a few hours. It was by far the most fun evening we've had!

I would have to agree. Relaxing and resting are good, but it's better to keep your body busy with activities you love. It's also a way of relaxing.
I can't last a day without keeping myself busy!

I don't think there was a day that we didn't visit a park, but we consider the water parks a bit of down time so we are normally at those on our 'rest' days

We normally don't do rest days but this year we will be mainly due to all the stress and work prior to the holiday. I'm looking forward to some lazy pool days as first time in August usually Feb or Dec for us 😬😬

We go all out as in we've got stuff planned every day, however we tend to have a sit down meal during the day to recharge. We also class water parks as rest days.
