WeatherBug is great. Used it for the last 2 weeks and seems very accurate (or as much as you can be)

I use Hello Weather. Works well in Florida and is really accurate with your location and it's free. It even beats the BBC one.

Hurricane watch is tracking a cell which has a 70% chance of reaching hurricane status in the next 5 days

My cousin who lives in NY and travels over the USA a lot swears by Storm Team 4 app. It has never been anything other than accurate within minutes- it gives you predicted times of weather fronts hitting. Very helpful if you are out for the day!

I had Fox35 weather and also one called Forecast Now. It gives you hazard warnings in a typewriter font, so must be official :P It seems it's quite technical.
The one day on my holiday it said there might be hailstones that could damage cars!

The current one refers to weather.gov/mlb/blog at the end
