Change of hotel on API

Hi,

we have changed our hotel for our up and coming trip next month. Just been on Aer Lingus to update our API with the new hotel but I can't see how to change this. When I go onto my booking it just states API has been entered.
Do I need to change the details or will it be ok.

I dont think it matters, you dont need to update an esta so assume its the same

Yes, you will need to update your API, if you can't do it online then give the airline a call or update it at check in at the airport. We're flying United and there is nowhere to put API so we'll just do it at the airport.
