It wasn't supposed to be a standalone ticket.

It was supposed to be an upgrade for those who already had a SW/BG/AQ ticket to add on Discovery Cove. Basically, they were swapping the already-purchased SW/BG/AQ for a Discover Cove ticket - which also includes entry to SW/BG/AQ - and charging an extra £23 for this.

However, someone at ATD balls up and allowed anyone to book DC tickets for £23, rather than an upgrade to existing tickets. Hence it's a glitch which some people were lucky enough to get. Luckily, ATD decided to honour this glitch. That's good customer service.

BTW, it's worth pointing out that if someone wants to upgrade their 2018 SW/BG/AQ ticket to add on a low-season non-swim Discovery Cove ticket it only costs £22 and they can do that now.

(On ATD's website the SW/BG/AQ ticket currently costs £104, a Low-season Non-Swim Discovery Cove ticket currently costs £126, so the difference in price is £22).

Do you know if thats all ticket companies that will offer the upgrade on the ticket or just ATD?
Got ours from themeparktickets.co.uk (a sister of orlandoattractiontickets.co.uk)

I don't think themeparktickets.co.uk are officially sanctioned sellers with the Orlando big boys so possibly not.

Just spoke to ATD. We can get non-swim tickets for £26. Am now tempted to book to replace our AKL hotel rest day.
