Which is best, gringotts or forbidden journey?

Absolutely no decision here - Forbidden Journey every time (and more).

FJ for all of us - the two youngest particularly loved it, although myself and the eldest felt a bit queasy when we rode it twice in quick succession.

Gringotts was a little underwhelming - it's got its good bits, but in particular my hubby was not that impressed with it. Don't know if the fake clapping started by a bored looking worker as the car returned ready to pick us up didn't help.

Only thing wrong with FJ is the amount it stops sometimes, and the lights going on whilst you are in the thick of it, which spoils the magic a bit. I was told this happens when they are cleaning up vomit and it goes stop start stop start so they can get to it in the light.

Put me off a little...

this is a tough one both rides are great but for the Robinsons gringotts just edges it
