HHN holding area

Hi

Can anyone tell me the time frames for the holding area? How long are you kept there before being allowed back into the park? And do you get let into the park before main opening. Can you get food or drink or are you just stood about?

Just wondering if it’s worth going late afternoon to Universal and possibly get a head start!?

Sorry for all the questions!

Two areas .Finnegans .you can buy a drink or 2 at the bar then head into the holding area.We normally go in at 4 ish. They release you anytime between 5.30 to 6 .The other one is by Simpson’s.same rules apply.the duff bar is open as is the taco truck and the Simpson’s restaurants.this will release to the back of the park and you can’t access the houses at the front from here till the park opens x

Thanks.
So, if we go to the finnegans area, we have access to the houses earlier than general opening or is it just the park you can wonder about until they open?

Brilliant. Thanks.

I think we only got a couple of houses done the entire night the last time we went so getting a couple done before opening would be great.

Just be aware to head towards the end that releases as soon as you enter the holding area (and have your drinks obviously! ) .the crowds especially by finnegans will form a queue at the end that releases.last year it was facing the mummy but the year before the released facing monsters cafe.Awaiting info on the Facebook page Halloween horror nights to see which way it is this year.Really looking forward to Zombieland scare zone 😁

Op you haven't made it clear whether you have "normal tickets"? Just to clarify, you won't be allowed into the park early without these, the Holding Areas are for day guests that have tickets to the event - sort of "Stay & Scream" for lack of a better description.

Hi

Yes, we have an annual pass that runs out at the end our first week there
So trying to fit HHN in before it runs out!
