Maldives August 2020
well we booked a bargain trip to Maldives for this August, i can't seem to find any updated advice bout travelling there and the travel agent has said if the flight is still going and the hotel open we will be going.
Luckily we have a delay on paying the final balance but just wondering if anyone is in a similar position? I would prefer to cancel but don't want to lose a big deposit that we have already paid. Any thoughts? Thanks

This is the current advice from Foreign and Commonwealth Office
gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice/maldives And the page to keep an eye on There is currently a ban on people from UK entering the country and visas are not happening. That could all change between now and August The Maldives is gorgeous - hope you get there 🤞 |

We are due to go to Meeru in November, it's rebooked from our April cancelled trip, looks beautiful. Fingers crossed you get there 🤞

Meeru is fantastic, we went here on our first trip. Best bargain we had for the Maldives was £489 for a week AI at Biyahdoo.

Anyone know what the weather is like here in October? Might be an option for a late deal seeing as previously plans have been shifted to next year.
