Mobile Food boxes (hello fresh, gousto etc)

We came across these first when watching the lodge guys you tube channel where they used hello fresh but others are available.

For those who have never come across these food boxes it seems that you order a box of food for (example) 2 people for 4 days ans they come with instruction cards.

Have any of you ever tried these and if so what did you think and how did you get on ?

Thanks

BB

Absolutely love Gousto and have used it throughout lockdown, providing us with fresh, delicious food every week. I love choosing the recipes and have regained my love of cooking - making it a family affair. I find there is no waste and I love having everything weighed and measured in advance, just need to prep the veg, which of course are all provided.

We've started getting a "Feed the Family" style box from our local butchers. Comes in at £40 for about 5 meals with mince to make a stew that should do a few lunches as well.

My brother does use one of them but I can't remember which 🤔 and says it's great, it's just him and his GF though. My thoughts were it wouldn't be enough for the three of us and our DD (5) might be fussy over some of the meals that come.

I've heard good stuff about gousto boxes (my sons food tech teacher buys them) so we are pricing them up.

Can you have the ,%50 first order and 30% first month ?

Many thanks for your thoughts

We used gousto for a bit last year and loved it, especially while we had the discount!

We stopped after the same recipes started repeating so decided to just get the stuff ourselves and use the recipe cards.

We are just thinking of signing up again for a bit.

When you get to the end of your month discount do they not try and keep you with another discount ?

Yes, but you choose from a weekly selection, which started being a bit samey.

It definitely recommend giving it a go though!
