Car hire lanzarote

Well with our trip to lanzarote suddenly on , we need to make some plans 🤣

We don’t usually get a car , but thinking may do this time if reasonably priced

Was wondering where you get your cars through- eg what website / comparison site ?

And who do you use ? Just after a basic car I can pick up at the airport , and don’t want any nasty surprises when I hand the car back 😀

We rate Autoreisen for the Canary Islands, highly recommended on Trip Advisor, zero excess fees, free cancellation, additional driver etc, plus their rates are very competitive. We have booked car hire with them again for our next trip in February.

Do you go for the extra €2 a day insurance cover for tyres / alloys / keys etc or are they ok / not too picky ?

I haven’t ever had a problem with them to date but as the extra insurance is so cheap it might be worth it for your peace of mind?

We always use autoreisen in the canaries. Good prices, always had a nice car, pay on arrival and no excess.
Can’t believe I cancelled my half term annual leave yesterday !
