Oh god I'm so pleased I'm happily married, the whole idea of all this is exhausting 😂
Good luck though 👍

Days before the internet. I was dating 3 men (dates as in they took me out for dinner, cinema etc no sex obviously) they was all very keen on me but I just didn’t feel any spark. I then met my husband in a nightclub and I knew as soon as I spoke to him that he was the one... seriously, sounds corny but we both just knew.
I never dated anyone else again after meeting him that Christmas Eve, almost 23 years ago now.

Basically every single excuse under the sun to not meet after previously arranging ! I must be like the Grim Reaper - ha ha

Most people talk to multiple people. I never took it seriously and preferred to meet guys in real life

As long as you treat it for what it is ... highly unlikely to result in love etc and you never ever ever send them pics or videos that you wouldnt send to your mum, then it can while away the time and possibly lead to something. I have loads of mates with same experiences as mine ! We’d laugh about the new excuses that come up !
Omg your post made me laugh 😆
I had one who said he could only go on a date if his sister came and another who apparently bumped into a woman in the street realised she was the love of his life and he was going to marry her ☺️

I agree guy number one is totally stringing you along. Personally I would forget about him. No matter what is going on in your life it takes seconds to send a message to someone. I don’t think there is anything wrong with chatting to more than one person to see where things lead but guy 1 sounds like a waste of your time.

1. You're only chatting and haven't met either
2. Dump no 1. He's probably married.

I honesty haven't read your post (I swear) but the likelyhood of you 'accidentally' chatting to two different blokes online is highly unlikley (in that you didn't know you were chatting to two different blokes). No need for excuses because you can chat to as many blokes as you want because it's not illegal.

You are not committed to either so you can keep talking to both. If you get serious about one then you can let the other one go - but without stringing both along if you see what i mean?

DH and I met online in the days of dial up - together for nearly 18 years now and married for 13.

So it can work - but you do meet a few frogs first

(I once drove all the way to Bluewater to meet a bloke - a good hours drive away - after 5 minutes I told him I had to go a I was busy )

My wife described me as a toad which I took a compliment.

Guy no 1 is married or something - 100% the whole house move, friend illness relapse death - what a tall story! Give guy 2 a chance - meet halfway for a walk somewhere (public park or something) see where it goes x

I'm no way an expert but my friends call me Miss Marple. Chap no 1 is married and possibly works away from home lockdowns permitted. As for the death of a friend nah don't buy that either. This is the reason I'm still single 8 years after divorce to a chap who was on lots of dating websites while married x
That said I do have friends in very happy relationships having met online.
