OMG his job must be gross some days. I'd never thought of this ( but I have seen some places after people moved out)

OP definitely they should have asked the first time. I've NEVER had a workman wander my house without asking I think they were a bit over confident

I hope you don't mind me giving you some feedback. Your bathroom looks lovely and a very professional job, but your toilet paper looks very thin and economy/cheap quality. Could I please suggest you buy some decent quality quilted toilet paper.

I thought of this thread the other day when viewing our soon to be new home for a second time with the building surveyor who asked if he could use it even though the house isn't actually ours yet 😆.
We plan to have the bathroom knocked through to WC, then new carpet on landing and stairs so will have a no shoe policy upstairs. With no downstairs WC yet we will hire a porta loo when having the extension done and the final part of plan the under stairs WC installed. I'm sure the neighbours are going to love the porta loo on the drive for months but there is only a corridor access to the rear garden so it's the only option.
