Mobile Another x box series x question

Not to gloat but I have managed to get one for my son. That is stress that I don’t want to ever repeat!
When he sets this up will he still have his same x box account and still be able to play the downloaded games that he has bought on his x box one?

I know it will play his old games but he gas some downloaded too, will they still be there?
Thanks

Yes he will. My son got his for his 16th birthday and he downloaded all the data from his old xbox (don't ask me how as he did it all himself)

Out of interest, whats so special about the x box x? Are there new games designed for it specifically?

Where are you getting them from?! I’m trawling websites and glued to stockinformer. I had one in my Argos trolley but as expected I was unable to check out with it!

DS has been trying to work out what he can sell to be able to buy one, but as it’s his 18th over the Christmas break, we’ve said we’ll give him the money, and he can get one when it’s available, but it would be nice to be able to give him the actual console instead on the day

Tell me about it! One year it was PS VR, I managed to get one, and then the little swine changed his mind. Managed to sell it on no problem but I could’ve done without the stress of trying to source one in the first place 🙄

Yes he will.

He will need to download them again but won't need to pay for them.

Thank you. So glad he will still have his downloaded games. His little brother will be having his x box one but he wants mine craft and plants v zombies or something 🤷
As for getting the x box, I signed up to all alerts on different sites and checked everywhere every spar minute I had. It was awful to be honest, I think I must be mad. It arrived today and I stupidly dancing around in excitement because even though I paid for it I did not believe it would arrive.
I did get another alert (I don’t know how to cancel them) today saying Smyths are due stock 2nd December. Fingers crossed for those trying.

We managed to get one for DS and it arrived the day they launched. It had been on preorder forever.

Set up was highly stressful as our DSs had shared an XBox One, each with their own profile running on my Microsoft account and we then realised we couldn’t run 2 profiles on 1 account over 2 machines at the same time.. getting Epic Games to link in was a whole other story The Epic Games profile is the players, but the console/financial link was mine. Had to contact Epic for them to unlink the accounts or something?

Took 2 days to get it sorted and now have 2 Microsoft accounts and 2 X Box live payments in the family. Good news has been that we’ve been able to download previously bought games that DS had bought for the old X Box without having to pay again (Minecraft etc) and can play games left over from our mega old original Xbox.

Maybe best to read up on how to set up before it arrives to avoid crushing disappointment. If you are just swapping one for another it should be a lot easier.

DS loves it
