Has to be Royal Pacific. Hard Rock or Portofino Bay. These 3 will give you the best benefits. FOLP and early entry. Plus a short walk into the parks.
All you now need to decide is how much your willing to pay to stay in one of them! My preference is Portofino Club level! One night gives you 2 days of FOLP. Check in day and check out day. Edited at 07:26 PM. |

It depends, we stayed 4 nights - 3 park days & 3 HHN with a rest in between but even 1 night with 2 days FOTL would be enough to do everything

On our 2nd trip we stayed 5 nights at RPR towards the end of our holiday. We had 6fukl days at the parks and I must say it was really relaxing. We didn’t feel that we had to rush to the parks, we would spend a couple of hours at the park, then time round the pool before going to the parks again.

We’ve done 1 night, 2 days a couple of times at hard rock and royal. We felt that was enough to do it with the extra benefits...that wasn’t in school holidays though. We didn’t feel it was any more full on than a Disney day. Although staying longer would be more relaxing.
we did it in the middle of our trip so still had our main hotel for that night, so didn’t want to spend more than 1 night |

We’ve done single nights and two night stays at RPR. The single night gives two full days at the parks which for us was plenty however with the two nights we got time to spend by the pool and enjoy relaxing there and availing of the great poolside service

This will be our first visit to Universal & we’re doing 2 nights, 3 days at RPR.
We’re planning to check in early on the first day & leave our luggage at the hotel on the last day (to collect later before heading back to AKL) to make the most of all 3 days but to be honest looking at the park maps we don’t think we’ll need all 3 days especially with the hotel extras & it being term time.

You will get more out of it if you stay at an express pass hotel as mentioned by a PP. For a first time visit I would say at least four days, my first time visit was twelve days but we are HP mad. Is I have been a few times, I would maybe only do two or three days next time.

Your question is impossible to answer without more information. We have stayed 1 night a few times but we've stayed a week a few times too. It depends how long you're in Orlando and what other tickets you have.
It also depends if you've been before, lots of people on here only visit Universal over 1 or 2 days. We love the Universal parks and will visit at least 5 or 6 times spread out over the whole 14 days. |

We did one night at HRH last year and 2 days FOLP was more than enough to do both parks. This year we are doing two nights at RPR as we didnt spend much time relaxing last year and didnt have much time around the pool so doing a more chilled stay, but it isnt cheap!
