Saratoga Treehouses

Justin Scarred, an acquired taste but I find quite amusing and he knows a hell of a lot about WDW history even though he acts daft, has been to the Treehouses.
Very nice aren’t they? They’ll be even better when refurbed.

I would love to know what occupancy rate they run at as I never seem to see cars pulling in there. Bet the Security Guys on the gate can have a kip at night

I have read that things can get a bit fraught regarding parking though as I'm sure it's only 1 space per villa.

Think it’s pretty decent I think Tom, they are popular due to size v points cost. So for example in September they can be had for 39 a night compared to 64 for a Grand Villa.

Tried to watch, had to switch the sound off as he was so annoying. I'm not sure about the treehouses, I think you have more chance of the Florida wildlife visiting with you there.

They are in such a poor location though (unless you love driving). We’ve run past them many times and they look so fab but I know I would not enjoy staying there.

Parking put me off, especially with the occupancy of them as we went with my elderly parents and my dad drove at the time but mum was quite immobile, our ds is in a wheelchair so with there only parking for one car would not have worked we would struggle

The out of the way location I really like, but enjoy walking a lot so that aspect doesn’t bother me. I’ll be interested to see them post refurb. Can certainly see with immobile people it wouldn’t be ideal.

You read of people taking spaces not at their villa so for me I would worry we would end up with no space at all

we had a think this year as our DS and family joining us. but went for the 2 bedroom and studio for them at CP

its like I wish I could get the courage to book a non preferred as so much less points but worry with there only being 1 fully accessible 2 bed villa in each (as in 3 in the whole resort) the other rooms would be far out

I wonder if they will refurbish them? Going on the old refurb schedule they aren't due to be done yet.
Plus as they are a totally stand alone Resort geographically they may not do them for a few years.
Be interesting to see.

Did see someone say they would - but whether based on fact or their own speculation not sure.
