Mobile Recommendation on Universal for 6

We are hoping to do 1-2 night stay at a universal hotel & experience the faster queue system. Im aware that for our family size we may need 2 rooms ( which will bring up the cost ) however we’ve never stayed at universal before & kids have never been to these parks.

Which one would you recommend for first timers & would give us the early entry & fast queue etc?

Kids will be 4, 6, 8, 10

We have stayed at Hard rock and royal Pacific and our preference is the hard rock as it’s a little closer and we preferred the theme. However royal Pacific is usually a little cheaper which will make a difference if you need 2 rooms and also the pool there was great for kids and my son had a blast so with 4 little ones that could be the best bet for you.

There are only three to choose from, to be honest for one or two nights I would go with the cheapest as the experience isn’t going to be vastly different.

Portofino is usually more expensive and as you need two rooms could get pricey. It is the most deluxe of the three but it is further from the parks. We have stayed at Portofino and RPR, next time we go will be a one night stay, I would like to try HRH as we have not been before but I would be happy with either HRH or RPR as they are both very easy walking distance to the parks.

We’ve booked 2 nights 2 rooms at Royal Pacific. Hope we made the right decision.
