solo trip - disney springs 7 hotels? help

I have a solo trip to Universal and have been changing my mind about it and going with Disney.

Never stayed off site and have seen the Holiday inn is one of the Disney spring 7 hotels that have all the extra magic hours and the 60 days FP booking.

Has anyone stayed here and any advice?
How do you connect your booking ( virgin) to the MDE to get the 60 days? I am trying to book the hotel and the ticket separately

The price is within my budget as the onsite hotels are too expensive for my week.

Never stayed there but passed it often on my walk up to crossroads! In good place springs and crossroads easy walk, not sure when crossroads being demolished latest news I believe 2021. Shuttle to parks twice per hour, think you are 2nd pick up. Back of hotel looks onto busy rd ( sorry don't drive so no idea of number ) so my guess is pool area would not be overly peaceful!

I purchased disney ticket direct and just placed virgin ref and ticket ref into mde and info appeared!

We stayed there in October and would definitely return. Buses were good and generally on time - we always got a seat into and back from the parks. The food at the pool
bar was reasonably priced and good for a quick bite. The pool area wasn’t too noisy and wasn’t crowded at all. We booked through Expedia and used the booking ref number to link our tickets - we called Disney and they did it for us to enable us to book fast passes. Hope this helps
