Winter city break with kids?

Can anyone recommend? We want to do something Christmassy with the kids next year, around the 19th Nov for 3 nights as the kids both have training days.

I considered NYC, dh & I have been, the kids are desperate to go, but wondered anywhere else where there is plenty to do for a family? I also looked at Toronto, but i'm not sure what there is for a family? Cold weather not an issue as we want to feel Christmassy so don't mind if there is cold or snow!

Also thought about DLP, we went last Dec and all loved it, but not sure we want to go again so soon after going to Florida in August!

Any ideas?

I don't know what its like in Nov, but we really enjoyed Innsbruck. It was cold when we went at the end of December, but the town itself didn't have snow, but there was snow on the mountains.
Plenty to do, we went ice skating outdoors, sledging, went to ice hockey games, there's an Alpine Zoo too. We also visited a castle nearby and Swarovski World.
Cheap as chips to get to, Easyjet fly there and its an amazing approach to the airport through the mountains

Munich is a really lovely city. We didn’t go in November but I would have thought that the Christmas markets will have started by then. We had a day trip on the train to neuschwanstein castle which is really lovely especially if it’s snowing.

Thank you both! Will look at both options for a future trip as I booked 3 nights to NYC over thanksgiving next year!
