Another special experience that will be missed! 😫
They were a fantastic band and we loved watching and listening to them while waiting for our restaurant meals.

Just told DD, her reaction was NOOOOO. How sad that kids will miss out on their music. 😥

I assume they are self employed and contracted to Disney.

Would that be correct, does anybody know?

I think as they were brought out of furlough by the company and had their name changed that they were employees of Disney.

It's a great shame that they are being released as for me it was a highlight when walking in off the monorail and being met with their fantastic sound.

Absolutely gutted.

We would always listen to them either when strolling in the GF or during one of our stays. Our best memories of them are when staying in Royal Palm club and chilling with a glass of wine and listening to the orchestra.

I'm sure Disney can make cuts elsewhere and keep the orchestra as they are one of the factors which make the GF unique.
