Deluxe Dining before Christmas! **COMPLETE**

Yay, itís finally our turn!

We are The Stores family - a blended family of 5 but itís just 3 of us coming on this trip:

Me - Anni, 32 and planner of all things Disney.
Husband - Pete, 34, his pet hate is being asked what he wants to eat in 6 months time 😏
Son - Oscar, 6 and very excited!

We are DLP veterans but this will be our first time in WDW and excited would be an understatement. We almost lost the trip when Thomas Cook sadly went under, however thankfully we managed to recover this (albeit for more ££!) and we are still on our way...

We opted for the DXDDP which I know some people feel is too much food however, we are a hungry family and dining is as much of a part of our holidays as the attractions.

Iíve been glued to your trip and dining reports over the past 9 months and we have ADRís booked at the following places:

Ohana
T-Rex
Cinderellaís Royal Table
Tonyís Restaurant (Parade package)
Crystal Palace
Hollywood & Vine
Ogaís Cantina
Tusker House
Tiffins (Rivers of Light package)
Be Our Guest
Bon Voyage Breakfast
Chef Mickeyís
Garden Grill
Akershus
Candy Sushi Lesson
Coral Reef
Hoop-Dee-Doo
Sanaa
1900 Park Fare
Liberty Tree Tavern
Le Cellier
Mama Melrose
Eating our way around The World Showcase

I felt inspired to do my own trip report and Iím very much looking forward to all of the snacks.

I also love DisneyBounding but donít feel I can commit to doing a full trip report so Iíll update you here about my outfit choices.

See you in a fortnight!

Pre-travel day!

It started out with me finishing a some work that came in last night and then finishing as much packing as possible.

Weíre not travelling particularly light - 3x checked bags and 3x cabin bags!

Then off to get my nails done - I always get them done at the John Lewis Beauty Retreat in Cheadle, they always do a brilliant job but it costs a lot more than many other places 🙈

Then over to TGI Fridays for dinner.

For drinks we had a Cosmo (me), unlimited soft drink (Pete) and Chocolate milkshake (Oscar).

Cosmo is always my cocktail of choice but I think Iím going to try and be adventurous this trip and try some different choices...

So far so good...

Starters were a little mixed, I went for the bacon loaded potato skins. Unfortunately they werenít cooked properly and were quite chunky and hard and had quite an unpleasant peppery after taste (Iím a big fan of black pepper but this was a little off).

Pete went for the JD chicken strips and he thought they were great as always.

For mains, I chose the creamy chicken penne. It arrived draped in a (slightly wilted) rocket blanket! Hmm, slightly off putting when you canít even see whatís underneath.

Thatís better...

This was really tasty.

Pete had the triple stack burger with fries, this was an absolute monster! As you can imagine, this did not get finished but I did try a little bite and it was very nice indeed with the JD glaze over the top. Sticky though!

Oscarís main was hot dog with smiley faces and beans (which he didnít eat) - the review from him was Ďgood, good, good, good, good!í

I also ordered a side of the lobster mac and cheese - pasta on pasta is fine when youíre on holiday, right?

OMG, this is absolutely amazing - you can really taste the lobster. Absolutely delicious!

After that feast, we couldnít face a pudding each but weíd been enticed by a new menu offering - símores sundae so we ordered and shared.

This is made with biscoff biscuits, biscoff sauce, ice cream and toasted marshmallow on the top - which we thought may have been Fluff but was a bit thicker in consistency. Very sweet which you might struggle with individually but between 3 of us, it was just enough. A very nice end to the meal.

Our server Rik (who weíve known for years) was amazing as always

£72 including tip.

Iím going to try and keep on top of this but bear with me, travel day tomorrow...
