Counting down and praying hard

I go away every year with my closest girlfriends, a tradition going back over 12 years. This year we were originally going to Croatia for a whole week, well that got cancelled of course, so new plan is Brighton for four nights, 5-9 October, in a gorgeous house with heated pool, five of us going, HOPEFULLY! (Current England rules allow this but may change of course and probably will knowing our luck this year)

I still cannot believe it will actually go ahead but I have everything crossed, am praying, (I don’t usually do that) I would urge all my fellow Dibb friends please also cross everything and pray for me too thank you! I NEED this break! I will even do a mini trip report if it goes ahead!

I have everything crossed for you Louise, I know you need the break this year. DH and I are booked for an Airbnb in Devon the same week as you, luckily we are not in a Welsh lockdown area yet although many parts of Wales are. I’ve got everything crossed for us too

I’m heading to Liverpool this Friday been booked for hubby’s birthday from July, we’ve to fly from Belfast & im afraid of more lockdowns coming this week😢 really hope we can get away! Good luck for your trip too x

I am expecting London to go into Lockdown over next day or so but Sussex should be ok (fingers crossed) - a few days in Brighton is fabulous at any time of the year. Enjoy

Thanks Megaflyer! We love brighton, we have a lovely meal at the Ivy booked, and a fun cocktail experience called Alcotraz where you get put in Prison!
