Iqualy/Red roof?!?!

This is a bit long winded.

Lat year I booked 3 nights through Booking.com at the Iqualy on Idrive for 3 nights this July because it was $60 per night per room (booked 3 rooms). after booking I did some googling and could not find any information at all about this hotel. Lots of detective work and stalking Trip advisor later I worked out it was now the Red Roof Inn on Idrive. I contacted Booking.com for clarification but they were useless and said my booking still stands but wouldn't give me any more information.

So I'm just wondering if anyone can shed any light? Due to the Coronavirus we won't be going this year anyway. We've contacted Booking.com who said they'd contact the hotel to ask for free cancellation but they never get back to me so I've sort of given up anyway!

Sorry don’t know anything about Red Roof but make sure you ring Booking.com back. When we couldn’t travel in May ( only a hotel in Blackpool), they said to re-ring them after 15 days if the hotel didn’t refund. Booking.com we’re very good at helping us.

I’ve stayed in a couple of Red Roof Inns.
Very much motel rather than hotel, cheap, I’d not pay more than$50 a night.
They do have a not happy you stay free scheme. After getting locked out of my room on the second night and the night staff not the greatest on one night (only place I’ve ever been served in a hotel by someone working one handed as the other hand was holding a bag of ice on her head ... apparently she had a headache) but very good the other night.
I don’t think I’d choose Red Roof in Orlando without a lot of research first.
Contact the hotel direct they are usually owner run . There is a hotel chain website , I got a quick reply when I used the contact us button.
