Who uses all 14 days of a 14 day ticket?
Just a general question prompted by the discussion on prepaying for Genie+ with the 14-day UK tickets...
Who actually uses all 14 days of their 14-day tickets, whether Disney, Universal or Seaworld? Remember there's no right or wrong answer, I'm just curious as to how many do use all of the days on these tickets. Personally, I think we've only ever used a maximum of 9 days of our 14 day Disney ticket and most of the time it's been 7 days or less. As for Universal, we've never used anything like 14-days from a Universal ticket - we've only visited on 3 or 4 days per trip. I'm not sure I've ever even bought a 14-day Universal ticket.

Not even there for 14 days. I only buy the 14 day ticket because they make me to get the room offer, which works out better value than buying a cheaper ticket.
Next trip is 8 days, with 5 of those being park days. That's about average for me. |

We've used all 14 days of ours in 4 trips out of 6. We'll either use 13 or 14 days next time too as we're planning a trip to KSC and I'm not sure yet if we'll do that during our Disney fortnight, or our US week.

We will be using 12 days next trip but have used 14 when we’ve gone for 3 weeks. Some of the 12 days will be TL and BB though so won’t need the G+ for those

Probably 9 days out of a 14 day visit. Day 1 and 14 are travel days and then we have days out too.

If you get the 14 days for the price of 7 offer, as I did, it's a bit of a moot point. The extra 7 days are basically just thrown in free.

I rarely see the 14 day ticket NOT on that offer and even when it is, it's only a few Ł more so it's basically just the price of the ticket. But it works in British marketing to say it's 7 days free since our market is very offer led.
But the question came about since Genie+ can only be bundled at a discount on the 14 day ticket. And a lot of people are buying it, even though they won't necessarily use all 14 days of the ticket. Which reduces the value of the discount, to the point it can end up more expensive than buying it per day if you're not using the bulk of your ticket. Edited at 08:32 PM. |

We always use 13 of the 14 as we don't park first night.
We're not pool people but go to typhoon lagoon on "rest days". We stay onsite so do mornings in Parks, evening dining either in resort hotels or Epcot etc. When we first starting going way back when we'd stay off site... Not as many parks and I'm not sure their was a 14 day tickets. Think we had some sort of park hopper which we bought once out their |

Although the talk about Genie+ prompted the question, I was just asking for fun and being nosey regarding how many days people spend at Disney. Or Universal. Or Seaworld.
Here in the UK it seems we tend to get offered 14 day tickets - which fits the length of most people's holidays to Orlando but not necessary the number of days that they'll spend at each of the parks. I've sometimes joked that some people buy 42 days worth of tickets (14 day tickets for each of the three groups of parks) to fit into a 2 week holiday and wonder why it's so expensive. There is an argument that it is a way of charging us more for something that most of us won't necessarily fully use. I wanted to know how many days people visited these parks and whether people actually used all their 14 days. Surprisingly (to me anyway), it seems most DIBBers do use the vast majority of their Disney 14 day tickets. Of the 17 people who have responded up to now, around 12 of them do use, or plan to use, about 13 or 14 days of their ticket ri visit the Disney parks - that's about 70%. Whilst only around 5 of us up to now use about 10 days or less of their ticket. I thought a lot of people would only spend about half their time at Disney so this was a bit of a surprise. On average, I think I only visit Disney on 7-days during our 2 week holiday, so it seems I probably visit Disney the least out of us DIBBers.

Hehe, I knew you were only being nosy. Was just trying to give some context of the origin of said nosiness to the poster.
Maybe length of stay would have been another part of the question to add. I'd guess that a lot of the people buying multiple parks are also going for more than 14 days. Although data is probably a bit skewed as the title of the post is more likely to draw the attention of people who do use most of it. That's just the nature of pointed surveys in general.
