How easy/hard are the online supervised tests.

We are not flying until the beginning of May, so I know things may change before then. However as we fly on a Monday, we would need to test on Sunday.

I was thinking about an in person test at Boots, but it would save time on our pre departure day if we did an online supervised test. (Just me and DH).

How easy is this to do? I think I would be OK, but DH gets a bit flustered with things like this! Could I help him?

Also is this done via Zoom or some other app/ site?

Are there any recommendations/avoids for any particular companies?

I did mine this morning, at 8.29 I went onto the app ( azova for mine ) and at 8.30 my phone rang . The test was talked through every step and was easy.
However when I went to send the photo to prenetics via project screen .they didnt have me as registered ,so I was in a bit of a panic ,but with the help of a nice man on the phone and my husband , I did it and had my certificate within 15 minutes.

I am a technophobe though so as long as you arent like me ,you'll be fine.
I'm going again in May and hope we dont need one by then

Hi, we have tests booked with prenectics.
Do we need to register with prenectics and the app service?
It’s all very confusing. 😂
Thanks

That’s sounds fairly easy and certainly quicker than having to trek to Boots!

Was the app on your phone or pc/laptop?

We used Qured and whilst me and my husband were fine, we had to help mum and dad. It wasn't particularly clear what the nurses were saying and various things needed to be held up to the camera so they could see.

I'd choose an in person test in future; Boots and Lloyds are round the corner or I'd do it at the airport. They're not much more expensive than Qured.

Yes ,download the app and make sure you activate your test, I think that's why mine didn't register
