crowds beginning July compared to august?
hello
we have been to Florida in April, October, august but never early July. wondered what the crowds are like before the Uk children break up for school holidays? Is there any American holidays i need to be aware of at beginning July? thanks in advance for any help |

US schools are off June/July and most visitors are domestic, so it's much busier in July than in August when their schools start going back. Especially over 4th of July, and it's a Monday this year so long weekend will draw big crowds.

I wouldn't go in either month but I hate the heat.
The UK school calendar really only makes a difference to flight prices, the US calendar is what you need to watch for how busy it will be. So the later you can go into August, the quieter it will be. If you're not tied to school holidays yourself, September is the quietest time of year now. Edited at 02:07 PM. |

We have opted for the first 2 weeks in July this year too and although we anticipate it to be busy we are looking forward to the 4th July fireworks and festivities
To be honest at this stage I am not even that bothered about queueing for rides I am just so excited to be going back... of course how quickly that enthusiasm wanes once I am there dying in the heat with sore feet remains to be seen 😂

Of all the school holidays we have found the end of August comparatively quieter. By then the American and Scottish kids have gone back to school.

We have noticed most times of year are busy. National U.S. holiday are always busy. I suspect the price increases this year from rooms to food will have a negative effect on crowds all year round.
I also suspect someone will prove me wrong. Just go plan and enjoy. |

It’s hard to say. With the pandemic delaying peoples trips and the 50th anniversary I’m not sure any month will be quiet for some time.
We’re here now, January is usually quiet but it’s very very busy this year. |

We often go the first two weeks in July and we’ve always found it manageable. Yes, it’s busy but we’ve always been able to do what we wanted to do. Of course, those were the glorious days of FastPass!
