We’ve always found May/June to be a lovely time to go. I don’t find it has the humidity of July/August and maybe we’ve been lucky, and not that much rain.

We loved May but are restricted to school holiday dates now. My DD (1 still at school yr7) gets 2 weeks off in October that I really wish school would change to May so we could go then instead!
April she gets nearly a month off but I’ve heard it extremely busy there due to spring break - I’d that not the case anymore?
