If that’s the case then the 5% positivity rate would be the other metric. There’ll be a good percentage who have immunity through natural infection so that will hopefully boost the numbers of those vaccinated and help them edge toward herd immunity. Some people are contributing to herd immunity the easy way... by getting vaccinated... some are choosing to do it the hard way, by risking being infected going forward (appreciate that pre-vaccines, a lot of people didn’t have the choice when it came to doing it the hard way).

I hope they dont insist on them then, coz not a chance will kids be vaccinated here before year end. I'm in Ireland and our vaccine rollout is abysmal, not matter how often they keep banging on how amazing it is.
