It was cheap, tasty and service was good. The meatloaf looks a little crusty on the picture but it was nice and moist inside and tasted great. P was also impressed with the burger. It appears, as mentioned on other threads, the restaurants are short of staff still - a good half of the tables were free when we walked in but we had to wait ten minutes for a server to be free before we could be seated. Not an issue as P loves Cracker Barrel shopping but be aware everyone - eating on the fly isn’t as easy anymore.
We were in Cracker Barrel at Rolling Oaks at lunchtime, after a visit to Target. You can’t beat their baby carrots, they’re so sweet. I’ve tried to do them the same but never managed it.

We liked Steakhouse ‘71 enough to go back and try some more things from the menu -

Raspberry Gin Sour (L) Tito Vodka Martini (R)

Shrimp Cocktail

Four large juicy prawns but being really picky P shouldn’t have had to pull the poop trail out of one herself.

French Onion Soup

One of the best soups I’ve had for a while, nice rich beefy flavour in the background, plenty of good sweet caramelised onions and a very generous cheese topping nicely toasted for presentation.

Fish en papillote

Couple of tender prawns, perfectly cooked filet of grouper with some veg, potatoes and a nice light lemon butter sauce.

Filet Mignon

Perfectly cooked to the requested medium rare without the herby seasoning. Nice smooth buttery mash and creamy bearnaise sauce.

Creme Brûlée

It tasted as good as it looks in the pic, it has a thin layer of chocolate at the bottom too.

Perfect service too, friendly and attentive without being over intrusive and all the meal was perfectly timed and spaced out.
