Best time of year to visit

Hi Everyone

We are planning a west coast trip for 2021 - we haven't yet decided what time of year to visit but are limited to school holidays (Scotland)

When would you all recommend? We are hoping to visit California for 2/3 weeks and spend up to 5 days at Disneyland

If you're planning to visit San Francisco then the best time for nice weather is October, if not and you're just visiting south California then pretty much any school holiday will be fine.

We did our last one in the School Easter holiday, likewise this Easter. You will find the trip report link in my signature. We experienced beautiful mid 20s weather all the way from SFO to San Diego (via LA).

The only snag comes if you were planning on Yosemite. You may find it still in snow.
