SIXT expands n the USA by taking over Advantage Rent a Car.

SIXT is taking over ten airport branches in the United States from the insolvent company Advantage Rent a Car and is thus represented at nearly every important traffic hub in the country.

The transaction was approved on July 1st by the responsible Bankruptcy Court in Delaware. Starting most likely in mid-July, SIXT will receive the airport concessions at the strategically important locations Boston (BOS), New York (JFK and LGA), New Jersey (EWR) and Houston Texas (IAH).

SIXT will also be renting its premium fleet in Orlando (MCO), Denver (DEN), Maui (OGG), Honolulu (HNL) and Las Vegas (LAS) directly in the airport terminal

Well, well - as I understand SIXT has one of the best fleets in Orlando, but it was a bit of a pain to get too. Will have a gander at them

Mmmm. Spot on I think. If they can operate a slick process at MCO then they will provide some great competition to the big 3 already there.

Interesting times.

What would be classed as it's premium fleet in MCO.. Any guesses? Or do they class their whole fleet as premium?

As they generally have large selection of German cars , would expect top end German models.

Sorry possibly didn't word it in the bets way, in the press release it's says it's "premium range" will be available from in terminal at MCO, does that mean just their premium classes of vehicle will be on terminal and the standard classes still be offiste, or are all classes now that n terminal. It's not clear from the press release
