Mobile Disneystore Help

Hi. I have bought a Mickey waffle maker for my sons birthday next month from a personal shopper on Instagram who bought it from disneystore usa and has sent it over. Long story short it doesn’t work and item is faulty:-(. Personal shopper is saying I need to pay for shipping back to her and she will try get either a refund or replacement. If she gets a replacement I will have to pay return shipping costs as well which will make this present very expensive indeed. My question is can I take it back to disneystore Uk for a refund? It what other options do I have? Thanks I feel sick at the fact I’ve spent all this money and won’t be able to give my son this for his birthday :-(. He is autistic and has asked for one for two years! Xx

Hi

Afraid you can’t take it back to the UK. You could send to back to the Shopper and ask if they can get a refund. Have you looked on Amazon UK? Not quite the same sort of Mickey waffle maker but they do have Disney ones - maybe you could give one of those to your son? Sorry I know it is disappointing when you make so much effort.

Silly question, does it have a us plug and if so I’m sure I’ve read on here that you may need a voltage converter for it to work here in the U.K.

I don’t think you have any consumer protection so paying for postage would have to be paid I presume in this case (unless someone else knows different).
Thank you. Yes I have a step down transformer to change the voltage but didn’t work xx

Thank you. I know I’m so gutted that I can’t surprise him with it like I thought:-(. The shopper has been in touch to say if I send it back to her she will seem a refund from shopdisney USA. Does anyone know the cheapest and best way to ship something to Orlando? Xx
