flying back into the uk
just seen on twitter that you have to fill out a passenger locator form 48 hours before landing, i assume then ,when we go on holiday we have to do it both ways

Why would you assume that? You have to fulfil the rules of the countries you are travelling to. You’d have to check the rules for wherever you are flying to
