11 month window turmoil
We are now about 2 weeks away from our 11 month window. We have 340 points banked and 340 from next year to use.
No idea what to do. Got a cruise re-arranged from Miami for Mid August. Rent the banked points and bank next years, don’t book at 11 months and see what happens, book and swap to Vero Beach, plan to go to WDW... aahhhh! What would you do / any advice / suggestions. |

There would be no harm in booking at 11-months so to ensure if the future pans out as you've planned then you'll at least have your first choice.
And if you have a reservation but decide later to rent your points then that reservation can easily be changed online to the new dates and resort. Then just ring MS to change the names and other details of the renter. Good luck at 11-months and consider walking if it's a sought after category. |

Where's your home resort ? I'd probably book something using the 340 banked points plus however many of the current year points you need. Keep an eye on the situation and if it starts to look iify you can modify the reservation to just use the banked points and, as said above, rent that out and bank all of the current UY points. Hopefully by the time they need to be used things might be back to some "normality"

I suppose really it's down to you how you want to "live", 11 months is a "mile away", there could be a vaccine & conversely there could be a whole new pandemic. You could Bank all those points & then that year there could be another virus and on and on... We are booked for May & whilst we are aware of C19, we believe with cautions we would be safe(ish) but whilst I could about live with a mask for 3 weeks,I also want the return of some "normality" in park hours, parades etc IYKWIM
My advice really is don't over think it, go with what feels right SD

If we haven’t had a vaccine and you can’t go in 11 months, we have problems. I think we will have had a vaccine by Spring and you’ll be going. Not guaranteed but now likely.
