We bought with DVC resale market and used Mason Title, both really easy to work with and quick to answer my questions.

But one word of advice, it takes about 4 months after they accepted the offer, to get the points in your account.
This is our time line:

Home: SSR
Broker: DVC Resale market
Title Company: Mason Title
Offer made: 6/8/20
Offer accepted: 6/8/20
Sent to ROFR: 6/10/20
Passes ROFR: 7/21/20
Closing docs received: 7/26/20
Closing docs returned: 7/27/20
Seller returned closing docs: ?
Closing: 7/31/20
Deed recorded: 8/3/20
Contract showing on membership: 8/27/20
points in account: 9/05/20

The rules in the contract say DVD have 30 days to reply to a request for ROFR. On my reading you can then proceed if you don’t hear anything , but it seems the closing agents still wait for the positive confirmation from DVD. Someone needs to push this and just proceed after the 30 days IMO.

Fast forward 3 years later and we just got an offer accepted on an extra 100 points for SSR ($106 per point). Use year is a month earlier the our other contract.

Great price when Disney direct is double that price and still has 32 years left on the contracts

Oh fabulous, we closed yesterday on 160pts at SSR. Just waiting for Disney to set up our account now.
