Exactly the same here Mick, I miss that for the very same reason, this removal of the quick links has baffled me as I cannot find a way of going into a contacts profile to message them now, it was easy before, click on quick links / contact brought contacts up and you could go straight to their profile which showed if they were online and you could go to send message , that's gone, it might just be me being a grumpy old soul but I don't like such a drastic change it ruins my karma 😂

I asked if it was removed for GDPR reasons but Stu or SMAX convinced me I was mistaken and that function only ever appeared in the advanced search function

Just to clarify , you are right Mick, the member search along with quick links was in the dark blue bar, there is nothing in there now and I cannot find either member search or quick links/contacts search anywhere, maybe we are losing our marbles 😂

I don't even know how to access a contacts profile to enable me to send them a message, if I go to contacts through user CP I can't access their profile yet if I can find a post of theirs on the forum I can access their profile/ send a message that way. i must be losing the plot 😂

Now I know what you are referring to. It is the member list. That is now in the DIBB Forums menu at the top. One of the last items near log out.

The whole reason for putting everything in one place is to simplify the layout and create a 'one menu to rule them' all constancy between desktop and mobile.
