Playing Vinyl

We still play our LpS almost daily well our turntable
Has just died a major issue for DH
Now we don’t want to have to sell our Record Collection to fund a new turntable but willing to spend £800/£1000 to get good sound something that doesn’t sound like it’s being played on a phone or through a tin can
Doesn’t have to play CDs or Sticks we have seperate player for that

Helen. This intrigued me so I looked on Richer Sounds. Good heavens some turntables are £2K!

They do have some good deals mind, have you tried them?

Yes we looked have purchased one on trial it was in the 4 figures
But music is something we both really enjoy much more so me I'd rather have music than watch some of the utter rubbish on TV theses days
Sounding more and more like my father and Victor Meldrew every day at the minute

Helen. I'm dreadful!
I ran the only Gang on the buildings that wasn't allowed a radio!
I am not fond of music apart from a bit from the 50's and early 60's.

Just me I know.

Edit. I agree about TV. 1000 channels and nothing to watch
