Anyone going to Spain in the next few weeks?

Luckily for us we can all quarantine when we get back as can work from home anyway as not due back in the office until September but I feel bad for those that can’t.
Hopefully that’s as far as it goes then

My worry is the reasons for them implementing the quarantine again and Spain having to go back towards a lockdown. Couldn't cope with that happening whilst out there

Yeah true.
I have 3 weeks so we’ll just have to wait and see.
Our villa cancellation date has past so can’t cancel that now . Just a waiting game as usual ,sadly

How is it going to be checked though? I know someone in Spain now and there's no way he would go into quarantine when he comes back. I know it's totally irresponsible especially as his wife works in retail, but who would check?

This is problem we have it wont be, we rely on people doing the right thing but unfortunatly some people selfish an do what want!

It's policed by border control with your details and the police have the right to do spot checks and can fine you a £1000. Also employer's can dob you in

In exactly the same way as they will be checking on people coming in from countries who have continued to need to quarantine on arrival.

These countries were excluded from that process but are put back into it if required.

Yeah they have the right but they won’t .
I think last time they fined 3 people or something .. they don’t have the officers and they don’t have the money to implement the checks .
I’m happy to quarantine if I have to but I doubt I’d be caught if I was feckless enough to go about my life as normal .
