We spoke to currys you will need loads of battery's to last one day and download everything each night onto a lap top say to clear up space . Sounds like too much hassle to me

I got a Hero 5 last year to use for my YouTube channel and I can't fault it. Agreed though, you'll need a good few batteries to get through the whole day...but then you also need to think how long you'll be filming at a time.

Another option is an external battery pack, although GoPro make one, you'll be able to get one much cheaper off eBay or Amazon.

One things for sure, I'll certainly be taking mine with me.

We love ours, never had any issue with battery in hot climate. It wasn't great in Lapland when it was -35 but even the I phones lasted a matter of minutes in those temps.

We didn't use it all day in Jamaica, but did get lots of short clips and images with no issues around storage capacity either.
