Viva Las Vegas. Day 5 and travelling home 😣

Slept really well, woke at around 7, just over the jet lag and going home!
We could have had a late check out for nothing but we decided we'd just get out and enjoy our last few hours in Vegas. We packed and took our cases to bellhop for storage. We checked out and paid our resort fee by cash, thanks mostly to ds winning on the slots. This is something that people need to be aware of as most on strip hotels charge resort fees on top, ours was 180 dollars for the 4 nights. It covers gym fees, WiFi etc.
We caught a lyft to Ihop for our breakfast, a last blowout of eggs, bacon, hash browns and pancakes, oh and our favourite strawberry lemonade.
Lyft back to Caesars palace, we walked around the hotel, gambled on the slots a bit, then back for a final walk around the beautiful bellagio.
The conservatory was closed throughout our visit as was being redone, I was a bit gutted as it was almost finished as we left but not open so pics are from the outside.

Also found the chocolate fountain.

Time to leave so lyft to airport, took about 15mins, easy bag drop as already checked in. About 30 mins late taking off, I watched nothing on ife but did watch one episode of the last season of leaky blinders which I'd managed to download on USA Netflix as not on it in UK.

Meal not really very nice, very dry, one drink then eyemask on, ear plugs in and I managed to sleep for around 6 hrs.landed in UK 12.30 UK time,
All in all we had an amazing time, I did doubt myself for only booking 4 nights, however I'd do it again in a heartbeat. Jet lag was awful, but I did get some melatonin from cvs which helped, especially helping me get back into a good sleep pattern o my return.
I really recommend fountain view room at Bellagio, the position was second to none, as was every aspect of the hotel, I loved the atmosphere there. Some hotels we walked through were dark gloomy and smelt if smoke but bellagio was light and airy, even in the casino and smelt fresh all the time. The bed was honestly the comfiest bed I have ever slept in.
Uber and lyft are so easy to use and much cheaper than taxis.
Now I have a new countdown of 11 weeks to Asia. I may even do another triple.

So jealous! Glad you had a good time though. Shame your flight home was a bit crappy.

Thank you, it's my first one but really enjoyed writing it. I know how much I enjoy reading trippies and looking at people's photos.
I'm planning another trippie when I go on my next travels.
