Probably not the healthiest of food choices but when in Rome (well Brussels ...)

Hope you are now safely home
We have an enormous Primark opening here this Spring - I imagine it will be popular. They have spents about 2 years renovating the building!

Chips have to come with ketchup for me, but I have friends that would snap you hand off for chips and mayo!
It is a very pretty city but dare I say it quite dull! Also I felt very conscious of my bag (like I did around the Eiffel Tower or Las Ramblas).

I have to admit also to being more a ketchup girl but I can manage mayo when tradition dictates!

I can't fault Air Canada. They had a lot of passengers to deal with and the fact the airport had been closed due to snow the day before wasn't helping them find new flights!

As places go to spend an unexpected stopover it was fine I was happy that the airline was so efficient! Bad enough to be stranded without having to manage what to do as well!

Well, 1 out of 2 ain't bad.

Frites - oui, mais Tintin - non.

I've only been to Brussels once, for a wedding in Ixelles. I was very impressed by the underground rocade - but we missed the Manneken-Pis.

It somehow feels like we didn't really go to Brussels because of that...as it was the first thing everyone asked about when we got back!

"But did you see the pi**ing statue?"

It really isn’t worth the effort! I don’t feel the need to go back and generally I like cities!
