Bok Towers today
We have been to Bok Towers today. What a lovely day we had, the whole place is amazing so much to see and enjoy if you like walking. The place is immaculate with tarmac pathways as well as woodland walks. The fish in the pond around the tower are huge and very friendly. We also did the tour of the mansion lots of lovely know of knowledgeable people to answerIng questions. We didn't stay to eat but the meals we saw were very good and reasonably priced. Also lots of benches and seating areas and a beautiful children's garden.
After 30+ years of visiting the area this was our first visit all thanks to a half price Groupon voucher.

We love Bok Gardens, it’s so peaceful and beautiful. Nice escape from business of parks. I agree the Mansion is well worth the tour

We always go to Bok Tower at least once every time we go to Florida, it's such a nice place to visit. We also like to go to Harry P Leu Gardens as often as we can too; the last time we went we saw an owl just sitting on the back of a bench!

After 30+ visits to Florida we finally made Bok Tower for the first time last November. The golf cart ride to the tower was very welcome for two 70+ year olds.
And as Sage suggests, in April we did our first visit to Leu Gardens. Coupled it with the scenic lake ride at Winter Park which we've done a few times. Only about 5 miles from LG. Mick

Thanks for the review I have pencilled in a visit for December. How long did it take you to get there?

We have done Bok Towers several times, whilst down in Lake Wales have you done 'Spook Hill' it's a place which has a road on a hill and if you park your car near the bottom, stay in the car and take your hands of the steering wheel and feet of the peddles it will drive back up the hill backwards without you touching anything, spooky!

Depends where you are starting from.
About 50 minutes from Highgate Park if the US27 is not too bad. Otherwise Google maps will help. Mick
