A group of 10 of us went to watch it, all ages from 11-70 including 2 American friends (aged 30) went to watch it. Can honestly say it was the worst money I have ever spent on entertainment in any country ever. All 10 of us hated it.
My 12 yr old daughter told me she wanted to like it, but couldn't as it just wasn't funny.
During the show we kept looking at each other puzzled at what people were laughing at.

If there was an interval, none of us would have watched the 2nd act, unfourtunately we sat through the lot. Some bald blokes in blue banging drums with paint splashes is pretty dull after 30 seconds, and the banal slapstick lacked anything remotely humorous.

I felt like I was mugged, cost me over £160 for 4 tickets. Honestly it is god awful. If you like Mrs Browns Boys you might like it - it's that bad.

You're not alone - the group of 10 I went with all hated it. Shockingly bad show. The worst thing I have ever seen for the money

I looked for these on YouTube before I booked and glad I did or I would have been gutted to have spent so much money and wasted an evening ... not my thing at all.
Definetly a marmite situation.

This has me worried now!
Did either of you go to see cirque du soleil?
What did your groups think of that?#
Trying to guage whether or not i'll like this, before i commit to buying the tickets!

Going to new york and thinking i may be better to use the 'savings' toward a good Broadway show instead!

We have seen both. Liked them equally, both adults and kids (ranged from 10-14). Would have no hesitation in going to either again. They are marmite, no doubt about it, sometimes you have to take a punt. Have a look at some you tubes and it may at least tell you if it's worth trying for you.

I can completely understand why some of the PPs may not have 'got' it, but if you check out reviews generally you'll find that they are overwhelmingly positive

My ex loved this show. I really hated it-I didn't think it was funny, was bored out of my mind.

I am not fond of slap stick humor so that may be why I didn't like it or becuase he had already brought his girlfriend and her family (we were still married).
