When your in Florida do you just go all out or take rest days?

I voted "go hard with the odd rest day", but in reality our rest is an hour or two, and we count Disney Springs, Waterparks, Golf, pool and shopping as resting

Our days are either:
- A day in a park with Disney Springs / I Drive for dinner or a short shopping trip
- Waterpark followed by an evening park visit
- Morning park, afternoon snoozing / pool, evening park

Our limit for the pool is an hour - we get bored!

I went mad on my first visit in '92 with no rest days and regretted it. As I got older (and wiser), I now space the theme park days out and visit them on alternate days. Not being a swimming or sunbathing type, (health reasons) I use the in between days for shopping or visiting other attractions like Gatorland or take an Airboat ride.

I find that sitting down at some of the shows and rides in Epcot and Studios helps so I tend to plan these in whenever I can.

Go all out!
Family of 4, we go every 3 years and do 2 weeks parks 1 weeks cruise.

The parks weeks are busy !
We do park open until park close, we do 3 on 1 water park, repeat.
On a water park day we usually go into a park in the evening.

When we use to go for 2 weeks it was all out with just 3 rest days which we would get our shopping done but now we do 3 weeks we have about 5 rest days and they are 10 am to at least 9 pm with later if we stop for fireworks.

Yup we've all seen them dragging exhausted kids along with them crying as the parents are determined to get maximum "value for money"

I do think the way FP now works makes it worse rather than better for this

Or people watching wishes while their kids are sleeping on the pavement.

I haven't voted as we have done all four options.

This year due to who is going, we will probably fit the go hard with the odd rest day option, but last year, was more rest days than park days.

Most importantly, we do not really plan, no itinerary, just go with the flow and see what we feel like doing and when.

I voted more rest days than park days, but those days are spent shopping, beach, pool, chilling in the Villa. Next visit probably 3 or 4 days at disney and then haed to the beach, Its about Florida for us and not just theme parks x

We stay offsite and we class our rest days as visiting Orlando Premium outlets and then back to the hotel in the afternoon for a pool day.
