You're off! Have a wonderful trip. I'm looking forward to this. Hope the flight was good and you got through MCO without too much hassle. My DD loves the look of AoA resort so hope this is fun for you.

We are here. 😀
Immigration was so quiet and efficient we were less than 20 minutes before heading to the magic express.
We managed to keep art of animation a secret from ds till the bus arrived and we were like okay get up we are here!

We are in building 8, top floor, furthest away possible room... not much fun with 3 heavy cases. The guy at reception said 6 minutes walk - not with cases in the dark... more like 10 minutes!

BA food.

The flight was ok, here's the food offerings we had.

A pink coleslaw starter / bit meh.

Chicken curry - pretty good for airline food.

Chocolate, ginger and caramel cheesecake - way too sickly for me.

A while before we landed they handed out chicken Cesar sandwiches and a kit Kat. It was ok!

Edited at 03:25 AM.

We had dinner at landscapes of flavour, the food court is pretty big with lots of choices. They have a create your own pasta station like port Orleans but we thought since not on the ddp yet and the fact it was pretty late for us that we would just settle for a big pizza.

We had the meat lovers pizza and we shared a carrot cake thing.

All very nice although we didn't finish the pizza.
Ds had strawberry milk and we bought a refillable mug.

I'm missing the dining plan already!

Wondering why I am wide awake but everyone else is still fast asleep,

Not food related but here are a few pictures of our room at AOA.

The mermaid rooms are nice, not as in your face as some of the pictures I have seen had led me to believe.
They are smaller than the rooms at the deluxes but they have everything you need,
The resort is so well themed and so much thought has gone into it and we haven't even seen it in the daylight or fully explored yet.

And to be fair the walk to and from the food court didn't actually seem as bad without the luggage.

At least the delay made for a very quiet immigration.
