Disney Annual Pass Renewal

Hi,

I currently have Disney Platinum plus annual passes that will expire in August this year.

It does not make sense financially for us to renew as we wont be going back until August 2019 but I was wondering if we would still be eligible for the 15% discount if we were to re-new them next year having held them previously.

I cant find any definitive information on this.

Has anybody tried this and had success?

unfortunately no, you will only receive the discount if renewing, just have to keep an eye out for special offers on annual passes .

My understanding is that you only receive the 15% discount up to 30 days after their expiration date.

Thanks for the info, the 30 days is interesting but won't help me this time around.
