Should I Have Tipped?

I use online delivery for my food shops a lot and when the groceries are left at the front door then no tip. However Ocado came one day when my baby was crying his eyes out so the man offered and took it all through to the kitchen. He got a tip as I don’t think that that’s his job.

Perfectly up to you to give a tip, but my brother delivers for Tesco and they are supposed to take your shopping wherever you want it. So taking to kitchen IS part of the job. Don’t think he has ever been given a tip.

There is no right or wrong to this. In this country we don't have a tipping expectation like what they have in the US however if someone feels a delivery driver or the likes deserves a tip and they want to give them one then that's fine, it's not wrong.
