Thank you for taking the time to do your trip reports, they are brilliant. I have followed along on your holidays for the last few years and you have helped me plan and build up our excitement in equal measure.

This year we were not doing Florida! I was happy and sad we had enjoyed our 4 trips to Florida since 2012 but we were happy to look at other places

Oh no we were going to Mexico on an all inclusive (waiting on price dropping) until a kind dibber told us about cheap flights to Florida

So you've guessed it we are heading to Florida

Hoping to head to the coast for over a week (going to do Busch gardens for the first time) and like you guys we are not doing any Disney for the first time. Then going to head to Universal to take in some fun

So here I am now reading your trip reports and loving all the information about Universal and your time at the coast so far. We are now looking at the Universal hotels to help make our time there even better. I don't think we can get club level (probably fully booked at this late stage).

So again many thanks. Have a brilliant trip

Laura x

Those club food photos and menu will be useful for a lot of people. Looks like another fab day, it's just a shame you're waking up so early!

Nearly forgot to mention. If you and your family like zip wires and rope courses we would totally recommend Orlando Tree Trek Adventure which is great fun. (we all completed 3 out of 4 of the levels, including our 10 year old boy). We bought the gloves and water package which was fab.

Is there a supermarket near to the hotel? We're in a room for 6 and am sure there is a fridge so thinking of getting some drinks to enjoy on the balcony 🍸🍺
If you come out the hotel and turn right, there’s an ihop 200 yards along. Behind that is a publix and a dollar tree, sorted 👍

Looks a really good choice at breakfast, we’re staying club at portofino, hope it’s as good there.
That evening just looks perfect

Another fab day looking forward to AMI. We are staying at Pineapple Cottage on Pine Avenue so any photos around there would be great 😎 as not stayed there before.
Thank you for the Club photos and the menu rotation. I’ve now worked out we are on day 2 when we stay over which is a shame as DH is allergic to cheese 😩. Ah well the rest of us can indulge in pasta.
Breakfast looks good too. Can I check if you can do 2 days of Club as in the day you check in and out?

We are staying at the Grand plaza in July 😁 There are 3 of us so DS can have the smallest bed. We have booked a partial sea view room. Do you think there is any point in putting a room request through.? Been many times to Florida but never been in a Dollar Tree. Excited. Any chance to shop and leave the boys on their own!
