But as the article says, there is still a bus service just those to epcot and hollywood studios the buses are reduced to an hourly service, it would probably increase if there is skyliner downtime.

hopefully frees up some buses for Coronado Springs etc..

Skyliner probably is more cost effective to run as well.

Is that not why they built the skyline?

I'm not keen on cable cars at the best of times - absolutely hated the emirates air line across the thames in London (cabins are the same as the skyliner gondolas) but when we went to WDW in November we had a little wait for our first FP at hollywood studios so we decided to have a quick run on the skyliner to caribbean beach and back, it was great! The line (at least to HS) wasn't too high and the sway from the breeze wasn't too bad, the views are great too. Yes a big fear of heights could restrict you but a nervousness with cable cars, do that short line and see how you feel. We're planning on possibly going to a skyliiner resort next time we go as it's so easy to get from point to point.

The MK resorts have to use Monorail and boats. Epcot resorts including the Swolphin use boats or walk. I can understand why they would reduce busses which are surplus to needs at resorts with skyliner access.

The reduction of the bus service has been the plan and made public, ever since they said the Skyliner was being built so I am suprised people are conplaining when said reduction is implemented. Its the same as the monorail resorts and those with boat transport have a less frequent or non-existent bus service to certain parks.

Thanks so much for this Fancealot,

We've just had to change resort from POR to CBR. My husband and son are so excited for the skyliner but I was really worried about using it. I'm not 100% comfortable with heights and my only experience of cable cars has been the Emirates airline which looks the same as Skyliner and which I found absolutely terrifying.

You have set my mind at rest a little (well quite a lot actually )

They dont go anywhere near as high on any line. On most lines they almost scrape the floor
