When adding on do you all buy the same use year as your existing contracts? When we bought Copper Creek we bought the same UY as the Poly but we bought both direct so thats just how Disney do it.

We have 7 contracts for Dec and 1 for Aug.

The Aug one was too good a price to turn down!

This is what I'm thinking. If there's a good deal to be had then I guess you go for it regardless of UY.

If your current UY works for you I would try to stick with it for simplicity but if it's a great bargain I'd consider a different UY just as long as it worked with the usual travel plans.

Mine have all been December which hasn't always been ideal re cancellation/banking deadlines but I went for that as I'm easily confused

would it be stupid to buy at Vero if you normally holiday in a low season? Wouldn't have any intention of staying there...

Many people own different use years but for simplicity and ease, if you can, I’d go for the same one. All mine are Feb all under the same main contract and it makes it much easier on points management particularly when borrowing etc.

Yes makes sense. We have 2 which are both Feb too!

Do you mind sharing which Facebook group it is?

I have two home resorts and two different use years. It actually works well for me as travel at different times of year as not tied to school holidays or a regular travel pattern so with a February and September combination of use years I can have a different borrowing pattern. As I am generally borrowing this doesn’t affect banking deadlines.

I am ignoring this year when it will probably work against me as trip booked for August as this is just a blip.

I have Dec and August.
Also works well for me as we tend to travel Sept and May so it keeps it all flexible.
