Those are not fireworks,they are rounds going up, they heat up and fire.

Firework factory next door to where ammmonia nitrate stored in bulk (make bombs out of). Still no news on how fireworks set off according to news. 70 confirmed dead, thousands injured/missing.

Could be a welder near a fireworks factory near the nitrate storage.

One of the implications is that the whole lot was near the grain store for Lebanon which has all gone. Terrible additional blow for a country which has already got concerns about food security.

I guess it just brings back how dangerous port areas are - loads of different items stored cheek by jowl and with industry going on around.

In one of the videos I saw, you can see fireworks in the initial fire and then there is a second blast which would fit with the fertiliser going up later.
