Rides and Fear ?
When we went to Disney DH was petrified on Peter Pan honestly he was holding on ridgid with fear and his face was a picture. I was doubled up laughing with tears coming down my face 🤣🤣🤣🤪
Then we went on the tea cups oh my days never again I was ill and felt really sick 🤢🤮 Have any of you dibbers got funny ride story's or stories where you have been scared to go on a ride and just done it? Everest springs to mind for me I would love to go on it but to scared 😬 |

I love going on scary rides and enjoy the feeling but there is one ride that I will NEVER EVER EVER go on again and that’s the steeplechase ride at Blackpool Pleasure Beach. I felt like I was going to fall off the horse all the way round!

In a similar vein, my DH was sat next to a big, burly guy on Tower of Terror at DLP.
When the first drop came DH felt a hand grab firmly onto his knee, it was the tough looking guy next to him who was petrified! I think the poor man was mortified and was apologising profusely afterwards 😂😂 |

I went on all the bigger rides in Disney (and some of the smaller ones) and the only one I really didn’t like was space mountain.
Have you seen cool runnings the first time they go down in the bobsled with their heads wobbling all over the place...that’s what my head felt like. Seriously thought I was gonna get whiplash 😭😭😭 |

I had to put on my big girl pants last year as our DD11 is a daredevil!
When she was 3 we all went on splash mountain, the ride photo showed me laughing/screaming, DD laughing and smiling and my DH with his eyes closed! Sums us up perfectly but last year aged 10 she could go on bigger, scarier rides. I managed to go on Everest twice, they went on 3 times and although I kept my eyes closed it was brilliant and I would highly recommend it. Although we did stop at the very top for longer than last time and I honestly nearly cried as I thought we were stuck! Rock and roller coaster is our joint favourite as it's over really fast and is super fast and it makes me giggle when it takes off! |
